So, motivation and both affordances are also related.
2.10 A holistic concept
Learning ability is an integrated ability.
At the top, the five types of motivation; in the middle part, the eight types of intelligence and ability; and with two feet on the ground, the two types of tolerance.
It is important to establish the concept of the whole.
Many people did not have such an understanding in the past, thinking that such a large system seems quite complicated, but as you read this book, these concepts slowly become clear.
Learning is a comprehensive ability. Two kinds of tolerance - physical tolerance and mental tolerance are the foundation; eight kinds of intelligence - five kinds of ability and three kinds of intelligence are in the middle; and five kinds of motivation are at the top. Parents have a holistic concept of learning ability in order to guide their children's learning more effectively.
Learning is an integrated ability. It is composed of the five positive qualities, the five intellectual abilities, the three abilities, and the two affordances.
The five positives (upward positivity; positive interest; confident positivity; positive attention; positive perseverance) are the life of the whole learning ability, which can make the eight intelligences in the best state of play, and also protect the eight intelligences from external interference, and also can develop and develop these eight intelligences.
Creative thinking is the highest expression of our usual thinking, general thinking. The main reason for people to think is to accomplish creation.
The five intelligences plus the three abilities (receptive ability to listen and read; expressive ability to speak and operate; and self-management organization of learning) are collectively called the eight intelligences. The intelligences are the direct expressions of the technical aspects of the learning ability and the direct application of the learning ability.
The two affordances (physical affordance and mental affordance) are the foundation of learning, without them nothing can be talked about.

Five types of motivation
As a healthy being, a child's natural nature is to be upwardly mobile, to love learning, to have the self-confidence to be a student, to be able to concentrate, and to have the quality of will.
The main task of home education is to nurture, protect, rebuild and develop these five positive qualities in the child.
3.1 Upward motivation is the child's learning
The basic driving force
Genius homeschooling focuses on nurturing the five positive qualities in the child. Without understanding this, there can be no right approach to homeschooling.
Let's start with the meaning of motivation.
When you analyze your own children or the children of others, those who succeed or fail, those who learn well or those who learn poorly, you can see that it is often important to distinguish whether the child has upward motivation.
Most of the children who are good learners show a lot of motivation.
The first meaning of upward motivation is that it is a motivation for learning, a kind of initiative and consciousness, a pursuit of goals and drive.
Without motivation, without enthusiasm for the pursuit of goals, learning often loses its basic motivation.
The second meaning of upward motivation is that it puts the eight intelligences in a good state of use and play.
Without motivation, the child's intelligence is often in a poor state of use and performance.
The third meaning of upward motivation is to further develop and develop the intelligence in a good state of use.
Without motivation, intelligence is not developed and developed properly.
If your child has a good intelligence, but he does not have the motivation to pursue and learn, then even if he is smart, he may be in a bad state of intelligence, not to mention forward development. With motivation, the child's intelligence is at a very good level and can move forward.
Sensory insight into the child's motivation
Therefore, it is best for parents to keep their hearts clean and their eyes very clear.
Think about your child right now. How motivated is he or she in terms of learning? Think about what this state of motivation is like for him.
Your own child, you should feel it! How motivated is he in his studies? What kind of goals and pursuits does he have? Is he always working hard and actively pursuing an upward development?
If you don't have an accurate sense and perspective of your child, homeschooling is a dereliction of duty from the very beginning.
If you just think, "How can my child learn well, and then count him all day long and push him, but you don't know whether he is motivated and in what state, you are a confused parent.
You have to think carefully about your child's state, and think about how you can raise your child's motivation.
Parents, didn't you also go to school once? Aren't you still likely to be studying now? Please think about it, is it not relevant that your learning and work is good or bad and you have no motivation? If you are not motivated, can you study well and work well?
Therefore, parents are required to have a particularly vivid sense of their children's speculation, observation and perspective, to be able to see and feel: is this motivation like a small shoot, one centimeter high, or two centimeters high, or three centimeters high? Must be able to see clearly.
This is the real wisdom of parents.
3.2 Interest is the main motivation for children to learn
It is important to understand the meaning of interest positivity.
Almost all people know in theory that learning should be interesting, that interest is the best teacher for students, and that attention should be paid to cultivating children's interest in learning. Teachers talk about it, parents talk about it, and many books talk about it; however, not many parents really comprehend this and apply it.
Academic performance reflects interest in learning
One of the major reasons why children do not learn well is because they are not interested in learning enough. Children learn well because they have a high interest in learning.
Interest is just as important as upward motivation.
First, it is equally an initiative, a driving force for learning. With interest, one can be tireless; with interest, one can learn more and more and love learning.
Secondly, with interest, intelligence can be better used and brought into play.
