Timing is everything -woodmam

The so-called efficiency of time is how much is gained per unit of time and how much is accomplished. The same thing, some people do it fast, some people do it slowly, so what is the biggest difference between people who do it fast and those who do it slowly? The difference lies in the efficiency of their time is different, the value of time is also different. People want to live a more meaningful life, you must maximize the efficiency of time, especially do not count the gains and losses between sizes. For example, when buying things most people like to bargain, even for a few dollars increase or decrease, it is easy to spend an hour or two, but between the bargaining, so that precious time is easily put to waste.

About time, Franklin said a famous quote: "Do you love life? Then don't waste time, because time is the material that makes up life." Franklin said this for a reason.

It turns out that one day a man came to the bookstore in front of Franklin's newspaper office. The man hesitated for almost an hour before he finally asked the clerk, "How much is this book?"

  "One dollar." The clerk replied.

"One dollar?" The man asked again, "Can you order less?"

  "It's priced at one dollar."

The customer looked at it for a moment longer, then asked, "Is Mr. Franklin in?"

"Yes, he's busy in the printing room."

"Well, then, I want to see him." The man insisted that he must see Franklin.

  So Franklin was sought out.

The man asked, "Mr. Franklin, what is the lowest price you can offer for this book?"

"Twenty-five cents on the dollar." Franklin answered without thinking.

"Twenty-five cents on the dollar? Your clerk just said one dollar a copy!"

"That's right." Franklin said? smoked "But I would rather give you a dollar than leave my job."

The customer was amazed, and he thought, "Forget it, let's end this self-induced negotiation," he said, "Okay, here's the deal, how much would you say the book costs at least?"

  "One dollar and fifty cents."

"Another dollar and fifty cents? Didn't you just say a dollar and twenty-five cents?"

"Yes." Franklin said coldly? Smoke "The lowest price I can offer now is one dollar and fifty cents."

The man silently put the money on the counter, picked up his book and walked out. The famous physicist and politician had taught him a lesson he would never forget: for the aspirant, time is everything.

  ②Cultivate goals

To organize your time, you must first know what you are doing with your time, that is, learn to keep track of it. Only by writing it down will you know exactly what you have done, how efficient you are, and whether there is anything you need to improve. Only if you write down your time, you will know how to waste some time and how to do what is necessary.

During Lyubichev's lifetime, all those who had seen his documents were inevitably astonished. His papers were numbered and bound in books, dozens and hundreds of them. Academic correspondence, letters on affairs, lesson plans in biology, mathematics, sociology, diaries, theses, manuscripts, his memoirs, his wife Olga Petrovna Orlitskaya? How much effort did she put into organizing these documents? Snow's memoirs, notebooks, journals, scholarly reports, photographs, book reviews ...... come in all shapes and sizes.

The documents seem to record every aspect of Lyubichev's career and family life. Ljubichev's life and its twists and turns can be reproduced year by year and even day by day, and can be recalled hour by hour. As far as I know, Lyubichev started keeping a diary in 1916 and did not stop for a single day. During the years of the revolution, during the war, in hospital, on the train on the way to the expedition, he kept it up. It seems that there was no reason, no event, no situation that prevented him from writing a few lines in his diary.

If you look at Ljubichev's diary, you will see that from 1960, to 1970, from 1940, to 1941, all the years are the same, all the same. It's really not much of a diary. Each day is a short account of what was done that day, indicating how many hours and minutes were spent, with some inexplicable numbers. There is no narrative, no details, no reflection, none of the things that usually form the center of a diary.

"Ulyanovsk. April 7. Taxonomic entomology? Cave drawing of two nameless bag moths? Snow - 3 hours and 15 minutes. Identification of bag moths - 20 points (1.0)

Additional work: letter to Slava - 2 hours and 40 minutes (0.5).

Social work: plant protection group meeting - 2 hours and 25 minutes.

Rest: letters to Igor - 10 minutes; Ulyanovsk Pravda - 10 minutes; Lev Tolstoy's Sevastopol Chronicle - 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Next, learn to diagnose your time. This includes finding out what does not have to be done at all, what activities do not have much impact even if you do not participate in them, and whether there is a waste of other people's time.

In life, we often think that some things should be necessary to do, but in fact, it is not necessary at all. For example, some people like to play video games and think that it is good for developing intelligence, so they take out some time to play video games every day. In fact, whether video games can really develop intelligence, whether they really must do, they often do not think.

There are also some activities that can be participated or not. For example, for students, birthday parties of classmates fall into this category. Some people may think that attending a classmate's birthday party can bond and increase social ...... reasons, but what about not actually attending? In fact, it will not have much impact, people are still interacting with each other to make friends.

There are also some activities that are a waste of other people's time. Or birthday party for example, some people feel that inviting others to their birthday party is to others "look up", so some people are afraid to refute your face and come to your birthday party. But the person you should be most grateful to on your birthday - your mother - is often busy with your birthday party, even though she is willing to do so. A birthday party is often a waste of both your classmates' time and your mother's time.

Also learn to manage your time in a uniform manner.

Teenagers don't seem to have much discretionary time. For example, the daily thunderous daytime classes no longer seem to make the schedule. Homework time also seems to be unschedulable. Weekends, perhaps with tutoring and homework, probably can't be scheduled either. In fact, this kind of thinking itself is a common disease that does not look at time carefully. In what unit of time? For a 100-meter sprinter, one second is enough to decide who wins the championship and who wears the garland. For everyday learning, we think it is more appropriate to count time in minutes. In class, it may take you only twenty minutes to fully grasp the new content of the day, so what do you do with the rest of the time? Do you wait for the end of class, or do you follow along with exercises, etc.? How much time does it take to do your homework? What would you do if you had a quarter of an hour left? These are all questions that should be carefully considered.

A uniform schedule should also be arranged for longer periods of time. For example, double days off and holidays. Some people think that these days are rest, but what is rest? We often say that we should play and learn, but is not studying a break? Not really. It is especially important to arrange these large periods of time in a reasonable and uniform way to improve and develop yourself.
