Concept ambiguity method

When Avanti was a barber, the great imam came to shave his head and always did not pay. Avanti was angry and wanted to punish him a little.

One day, the big imam came for another haircut and Avanti first gave him a bald shave. When he was shaving his face, he asked, "Imam, do you want your eyebrows?"

"Of course I do, do I need to ask?" The imam said.

With a few strokes, Avanti shaved off two of the imam's eyebrows, delivered them to him, and said in a loud voice, "Give it to you if you want it!"

The big imam was so angry that he could not speak, who told himself to say that he wanted it?

"Imam, do you want the beard?" Avanti asked again.

"No, no!" The big imam said in a hurry.

"Okay, don't want to shave it off for you!" Avanti and a few knives, the imam shaved off the beard, thrown on the ground.

The imam looked in the mirror and saw that his head and face had been shaved to the bone, just like a naked egg, and cursed in anger.

Avanti explained: "Imam, I asked you beforehand, and I shaved it according to your instructions!"

On what basis did Avanti subdue the imam? Avanti used the word "to" in its multiple meanings to punish the imam. The word "to" in the phrase "to take or not to take" has two meanings: one is to take away and the other is to keep. The imam said "to", it means to keep, but Avanti deliberately interpreted "to" as the imam wanted to eyebrows, so the imam's eyebrows were shaved off. The following "beard or not" is also the case. This is how Avanti punished the great imam, who could do nothing about Avanti.

This is the method of conceptual ambiguity that Avanti uses.

  (25) The Method of Making Mistakes Out of Mistakes

During the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, Ming Chengzu moved the capital from Nanjing to Beijing, and on the basis of the capital city of the Yuan Dynasty, Dadu, he concentrated famous craftsmen from all over the country to build a big civil engineering project. At that time, Kuai Xiang, a famous craftsman known as "Kuai Luban", was appointed by the court as the person in charge of this project.

Once, Kuai Xiang presided over the construction of a large palace. The minister of the Ministry of Works, who was always very jealous of Kuaixiang, sneaked into the construction site late at night during a thunderstorm and sawed a short section of the threshold of the palace gate, which was nearing completion. This is a poisonous move, the consequences of which are enough to make Kuai Xiang lose his head.

The next morning, Kuaixiang came to the construction site and was shocked to find out. What should we do? There is no longer the same material can be rebuilt, the deadline is coming, to rebuild the time is too late. After some hard thinking, Kuaixiang came up with a solution: the other end of the threshold was also sawed short to make the length of the two ends equal, and at the same time, a slot could be made at each end of the threshold so that the threshold could be installed and removed to become a living threshold, and he also thought that a peony flower could be carved at each end of the threshold again, which could cover the slot at both ends and make the threshold brightly colored to look more magnificent.

The method of thinking carried out by Kuaixiang in the face of the problem is the method of putting the wrong into the wrong.

The method of induction and synthesis

Sittichoi's cleverness and resourcefulness were famous in Thailand. One day he said to some ministers: "I can see into your hearts, what you are thinking in your hearts, I can tell. If you don't believe me, let's make a bet!"

The ministers discussed the matter and told Sitnokhai that they were willing to make a bet. If Sitnochai guessed correctly, each of them could give him ten taels of silver right away. However, the bet had to be made in front of the emperor. Sitnochai agreed.

After the morning court, they began to bet in front of the emperor. Sitenochai said to the ministers: "I know very well what is in the hearts of your lordships. I can say what is in your hearts. If you think I am wrong, and what you have in mind is the opposite of what I say, then please bring it up immediately. If you think I am right, and what you think is exactly the same as what I say, then please give me the silver immediately.
